Glaubendorf 1

The magnetogram of this small KGA shows 3 gaps, where the southwestern gap appears to be due to strong erosion, so only two can be interpreted as entrances. The eastern entrance (89°) fits reasonably well to the equinox sunrise direction, while the opposite entrance near 274.5° misses any significant solar direction (declination 5.3°).

Equinox orientation is regarded problematic in the more recent archaeoastronomical literature, as it requires higher abilities to record and count days or split angles between the solstices, but it cannot of course be ruled out completely.  But taking the strong erosion on the south-western side into account, also the orientation of the entrances in this KGA can be explained as following the terrain slope.
